I've adapted the Editam (admin section) application for the backend of one of my projects. It works quite well, but in certain aspects it is rather difficult to adapt the code.

For example, I want to change the check boxes for the user roles to radio buttons, and also add another many-to-many relationship to the user table. But the moment that one changes the controller and model logic, the add/edit pages break.

I've looked at various other frameworks, and the closest in terms of ease of use, is QCodo - http://demo.qcodo.com/form_drafts/issue_edit.php

However, I've done so much already, and the Akelos/Editam combo is actually the best fit. If I may ask - Kaste (or Thijs), please contact me via e-mail (I've added the address in my profile), I won't use much of your time :-)

    thanks!

This is something for Kaste I guess.

Akelos (or MVC development for that matter) is still quite new to me (er.. 3 weeks or so). I'm a PHP developer who would to switch to Rails, and Akelos is my first step.
