Akelos Programming: Understanding views/*/compiled

    I'm familiar with RoR but am excited to learn about a php port and want to start developing with akelos.

    I'm a bit confused, however, regarding the compiled/ files.

    for example, after a default install if I create a gallery controller do I just create the gallery.tpl and something magically generates the compiled/gallery.tpl.php file?

    Akelos uses Sintags for their templates. Read more about it here: http://www.bermi.org/projects/sintags
